* Open the Device Manager * Click the icon left of Monitors * Double click the monitor listed * Click the Driver tab * Click the Update Driver button * Click No, not at this time * Click Next * Dot Install from a list or specific location * Click Next * Click Don't search. I will choose the driver to install * Click Next * Click Have Disk * Click Browse and navigate to C:\Dell\Drivers\R281165\ * Click the monitor inf file * Click Open * Click OK * Click Next * Click Finish * Now the Device Manager- Monitors should show ST2220T
Engineering said, "For the ST2220T model, there is no Windows 7 driver because it is Plug and Play in Windows 7.". So the Touchscreen should be using Windows 7 functionality. Honestly, I do not understand this. Hopefully another owner with Windows 7 can chime in.
Does it mean I cannot use the touchscreen functionalities in Windows 7? I've updated the monitor driver and the touchscreen function is not working at all, I spent extra 150 bucks for nothing...feeling cheated.

Did you follow the "Installation Instructions" on that page? Where do they fail?

Yes I did. What failed was once I downloaded the file it was not an actual driver. Rather then be one file it was multiple files.

Hi this seemed to work except the touch screen function of the monitor did not work. Is there anything that I can do for that?
Thanks!
