2407WFP monitor with odd lines on screen until warm.

Question

I've got a 2407WFP widescreen monitor which has developed (slowly over a couple of weeks) a wierd issue that when the monitor is switched on after it hasn't been on for a while and is cold, then approx 2' in from the left three lines of colour appear vertically up and down the full height of the monitor. One red, one yellow and one a  greenish/blue.However, after the monitor has warmed up, say after 5 minutes, they fade away and the monitor is perfect.Does anyone have any suggestion as to what this could be or how to fix it? It's definately the monitor as I have three screens and 2 video cards attached to my PC and it always happens on this monitor, even when I change the cables and video card port.ThanksKarl

There is no fix. If under warranty, have Dell replace it.
