Hi yugraj

Its a good thing you have updated the ALPS Driver already, have you tried the BIOS Update?

The older version of the ALPS Driver first needs to be uninstalled first before installing the new one.

Hi Telson

Thanks for reply

I tried BIOS update but version on my laptop is newer/equal to update in dell support.

Regadring ALPS uninstallation, will my touchpad work after unistallation & before newer version installation ?????

Also ALPS driver is updated as before version was XXXXX.101 & after is XXXXXX.104

Whenever i connect charger, it appears that something has started [by seeing small circle near top right of cursor(for 2-3 seconds)]

Small circle also comes whenever charger is disconnected.

Pls suggest some corrective action

Touchpad will work no problem without the ALPS Driver. Windows will install the basic driver for touchpad.

Lets try these steps.

- Remove ALPS Driver

- Remove QuickSet

- Restart system.

- Install Quickset.

- Check if the problem persists.

- Install ALPS Driver.
