I have exactly the same problem on my D600 with True Mobile 1400.
I connect just fine to the basestation, and get an excellent connection.
I do get an IP from the DHCP
BUT, i cannot ping any ipadresses on the network og connect to the internet through my router.
I have two other Wireless PCs on my network that works just fine, one is a C840 with a True Mobile 1150 adapter, the other is a C600 with a Cisco wireless card.
This is exactly the problem I am having too - and it turns me mad! I have a true mobile 1300 connecting to a dlink DI624+ router. It works fine with the cable, but not with the wireless. Is this a setup problem onthje PC? Or is it a compatibility problem between the 1300 and the dlink??
I have had the same issue. Normally this means the encryption key you have is invalid or incomplete. The other option is to tell your wireless network to renew the address. If you went into the command prompt and did a ipconfig/all you would have an address for the wireless that started with 169.xxx.xxx.xxx This is the generic address your machine will give itself if the DHCP does not provide one for it. We all still have issues if this the message you are still getting. Even though it says you are connected, you really are not. Little flaw in the connection world with wireless. Don't forget you can always detect a connection that is available, but not always connect due to security...
The problem here is the adapter. Some places I connect fine throug the wireless adapter, but at home and other places I cannot get a good connection.
For example on my home wireless:
I get "Excellent" connection to my Cisco Airbase, and after a while I get a valid IP address from the DHCP, but this is where the good stuff ends... If I try to ping other IP addresses on my network usually the first ping gets returned, but all other gets dropped or is lost somewhere.
My home wireless is open and does not use any encrypting hence any encryption key.
I seriously think that this is a Dell hardware problem!!!! Won't bye a product with a buildin true mobile adapter again!

Nope that wouldn't help in this situation...
