Also I forgot to add that I can run Memtest86+, Killdisk and other non-windows utilities, including a full run of the built-in diagnostics with no problems. Does that still point to faulty mobo?
I did disconnect the whole network card from the system board and have changed SATA settings between AHCI and ATA if that's what you mean. Have altered all other BIOS settings as well as part of a week-long trial and error process!
Apologies about the experience. You may experience BSOD due to various reasons.
Did you try running the on-board Diagnostics? If yes, please share the results. If no, I would suggest you to run the on-board Diagnostics to check the hardware functionality.
Alternatively, observe the computer in safe mode and check if the issue persists. You may follow the steps below to start the computer in safe mode :
Power on the computer
Tap F8 key a few times till you see Advanced Recovery Options
Highlight Safe Mode With Networking and observe the system.
Would request you to share the exact error message that show up on the BSOD screen.
Please reply with the findings. will take it further.
Did you ever figure out what the problem was with your N7010??? I have the same laptop, got it from someone and it wouldn't turn on, sent it out with a dozen other laptops to my repair guy, got it back, it turns on and does the same thing you were talking about. No mattery what I try I cannot run anything besides the BIOS without it going to a BSOD.
Thank you for replying. I didn't get an email to let me know someone had replied. Anyways, I'll try tapping F8 and when I get the next BSOD I will write down and record the entirety of the error with code and come back and reply. I cannot get into safe mode because the hard drives I've tried have all been formatted in long form, not quick mode so they've all been reset to factory meaning whenever I try to start the install there is nothing. I will run the diagnostics again but I am fairly sure that every hard drive ram memory combination I've put in so far has passed every test. I'm going to run all the tests I can and report back the info. Thanks again and I'll be back soon!
Thank you for the response. Please try the steps and keep me posted on the status. Also, share if there was any software or hardware changes made in the system.

Since you've already tried a different hard drive, I suspect that a faulty motherboard is the cause.

have you tried removing the wifi card or changing the SATA settings in the Bios?
