You need to run the extended test -not the quick 10-minute one. This will take a couple of hours -- let the quick tests run, then boot to the 32-bit diagnostic (you'll see the option appear). Then run the extended test.

Hey EJN63,
I did what you said and it came up as there were no problems found......any other advice?
Press F12 at powerup, boot to the Dell diagnostics, and run an extended hard drive test.
