Did you order Bluetooth when you configured your computer? It is not standard and must be special ordered at extra cost if it is available for your model. The N5010 specs page lists this as an option: Bluetooth Options:
Optional Combo Dell Wireless Card 802.11b/g/n, BT3.0+HS Check your wireless card in Device Manager to see what model you have.

This is a user to user forum, not Dell Support. Did you order bluetooth for your computer? It is optional and is only offered on the most expensive model N5040, not standard. Check your invoice. If you ordered the standard model N5040, you don't have it.
From the Sales site-- Optional Combo Dell Wireless Card 802.11b/g/n, BT3.0+HS
Check your wireless card in Device Manager to see what model card you have. If it doesn't list BT3.0, you don't have BT.
