Studio 1537 DVD to Bluray upgrade?

Question

Is it possible?  I purchased a CA10N BD/DVD-RW from ebay and installed it.  The computer recognizes it, but it will not read any discs.  I swapped the drive with the seller for another and this one does the same thing, it is recognized as a BD, but it will not recognize when I insert a disc, DVD or Bluray.  If I insert a disc, Windows doesn't act like anything happened and if I go to Windows explorer and click the drive letter, the disc will eject and a popup asks to insert a disc.  I'm baffled.  Any advise would greatly be appriciated.   Thanks!   Don

I have a trial copy of PowerDVD, but it won't even read it in windows explorer as data.  I should be able to see the disc structure without viewing the movie, correct?   Thanks
