Trouble installing IOGear WiFi usb adapter

Question

I have been trying to install the wifi usb adapter on a Dell GX280. It installed just fine on my HP Media Center pc, but that motherboard blew some capacitors, so I had to switch to the Dell. I install the software, reboot the pc, insert the adapter, but it can't find the driver for the adapter. Any help would be great. Thanks....Tim

Tim,   Did you try installing the drivers, then attach the adapter?   What do you see in the device manager?   Operating system is helpful.     Rick

Yes, I installed the drivers 1st. I have an XP machine. In the device manager, I see the name of the adapter, and a yellow ?

Tim,   With the adapter still attached, right click on it in the device manager, then update drivers. It should then start updating and see what happens.     Rick
