Dell Vostro v3550 LCD Back Cover and front panel gap/openning

Hello, I have bought a Dell Vostro v3550 laptop which has a 2nd gen core i5 processor, from India, Kolkata from a authorised Dell shop. The next day i have moved to the university in where i am studying, in UttarPradesh, Varanasi. The problem is that i am noticing the screen LCD pane, joint gap on the top of screen getting bigger. That is it seems that if i do nothing right now, the LCD screen back cover and the front side surrounding plastic (which sandwich the LCD screen) may come apart. Also the gap will allow dust to go in. What can be done right now. I cannot find any service center in this city. All i can do is to wait till i get back home. Shall i tape the joints of the back cover and the frond surrounding plastic (of the screen) to stop any more growth ?

First step would be to have the seller transfer ownership into your name.  Then call for support - chances are you'll either have to send the system in for repair or return it to the seller for repair anyway.
