Yes, my battery worked fine first time out of the packet, but once it had reached o% power there was no hope in getting it working again because i just cant get the BIOS update without 10% power. This is a real problem and i dont know how i can solve it!

Assuming that the problem is not with the battery, it could be the system board or the AC adapter.  Even if the notebook runs fine with the battery out and on AC adapter it doesn't mean that there isn't something wrong with the adapter.  Dell AC adapters have a power and a data line.  The data line tells the computer what type of ac adapter it is, what type of wattage it has and if it is safe to charge the battery or not. So if something happens to the data line but the power lines are intact, the notebook will run, but it will not charge the battery.

The thing here is try to verify if the battery or the AC adapter is good.  I certainly understand it may not be possible but if you know where another 1545 is, try the AC adapter and the battery on it.  Try the battery and AC adapter from that notebook on your notebook.  Try to find out where the problem follows.  Trying another battery and AC adapter may be your only option, be sure to keep a receipt in case you may need to return them.

If you know both the battery and the AC adapter is good and you still have the problem then you are looking at having to have the notebook serviced.

I wish I could give you more info; unfortunately I am not able to narrow it down between the battery, the ac adapter and the notebook.  Just as long as nothing happens to the power line on the AC adapter, it may power the notebook for a good while longer.
