How to check genuineness of Dell Battery

Hello, I just received a delivery from a battery supplier, that sold me an Original Dell Latitude E6500 Type PT434 Battery Pack for a less expensive price than Dell. Is there a way to check the genuineness of this product? I find it suspicious that there is a spelling error in the blue printing 'To putchase Dell batteries: www.dell.com/notebookbatteries' (Remark puTchase instead of puRchase). The battery pack itself looks find, maybe a little less quality than my old battery. The old one is manufactured in Japan, the new one in China. The new one also got a sticker with a QR-Code and a longnumber on it, so maybe thats a way to check the genuineness of the battery? Thanks for your help!

It's almost 100% certainly not an OEM Dell battery.

That does sound like it's a Dell battery, then.  Either that or it's a convincing fake.
