i contacted Dell and an engineer is coming today, the person on the phone accessed my computer and said he thinks it is fine, and he adjusted some settings and said to monitor the problem.
I am not happy as we have discovered whilst doing these checks that the ethernet port on laptop is not working and engineer is coming out to fix it, he also said on the phone that he is going to order a new motherboard incase that needs changing to.
I am fuming, can i demand that dell sends me a new laptop as i only had it since December 2011 and already they maybe changing the wireless card, ethernet card and motherboard :O ?
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Create a Power Plan
Select High performance.
Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your wireless adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
Thanks for the reply, the box was apparently already unchecked, so I checked it, and so far there seems to be no problems. I will update you as to how it goes, and yes my drivers are updated as well.

I haven't had the problem in over 2 days since I checked the box in Power Management. So I guess it's fixed! :D Hope it doesn't act up again.
Thanks for the help,
moneybagzkd.
