How much harddrive space can the xps 8300 support?

Hello to everyone,I have a rather simple question but I really don't know the answer so please forgive me. Anyways I have a xps 8300 that came with a 320GB hdd, and I added an additional 1.5TB as my secondary . What I would like to know is,what is the maximum amount of storage space my system supports? Also would it be ok if I were to remove the 320,and replace it with another 1TB or 1.5 TB?

Assuming that your XPS 8300 uses the Windows 7 OS the maximum capacity you can use for a boot drive is 2 TB.  Provided you use the GPT partitioning scheme to partition and format the drive, you can use drives that exceed 2 TB for data only.
