Hi

Yeah, tried that too.....it really is the strangest thing, I'm thinking of taking out the internal cd drive to see if that does it.

I have a Inspiron 8100  with about the same prob. Did you find a solution? They seem to think mine is a Video card/bios issue but no answer yet.

I8100 / A15 / nVidi 32mb / XP pro

Hi

No resolution yet!  I did switch out my video card, but It did not help.  I actually have a new problem on top of it, when windows would normally start to boot, I get the blue screen of death (can't remember what it says at the moment)  Please let me know if they find a fix for yours!

Mine just went back to depot. They said they thought the LCD/Backlight was bad. We will see next week.
