Dell Inspiron 1564 how to restore factory settings

Question

I have Dell laptop which when turn on, I get a blue screen with following errors ntfs.sys PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA STOP :0X00000050 When i restart the laptop and F8 on Dell logo to get to Advanced Boot Options Select : Repair your Computer I get Windows is loading files and reverts back to blue screen again ? Any idea how to get factory settings restored? I do not have a copy of the OS cd. Thanks

This error is often caused by a faulty hard drive.  F12 at powerup - boot to the Dell diagnostics and run an extended test of the hard drive.
