It is a laptop.

Hi CoreyLyvers,
Welcome to the Community
In response to your query, “Re-installed Windows 7 Home Premium but no wireless connection?” please download and install the wireless drivers by using the following links based on the wireless card you have on the system. To check for the wireless card please go to “Device Manager” and check under “Network Adapters.”
For Atheros:
www.dell.com/.../DriverFileFormats
For Broadcom:
www.dell.com/.../DriverFileFormats
Thanks & Regards

Most are 32 bit and 64 bit. Some are 64 bit only however. How much RAM do you have, it may be worthwhile sticking to the 64 bit.

I ended up going to the dell website and put my service tag in to get the drivers that way, however they didn't work. I had my friend look over my computer and he asked why I put 32bit windows on when I should of put 64 bit and he said that is whats causing the drivers not to work. Is he series is that the cause? Do I need to reinstall windows again?

The ram in the laptop I believe is 4gb. But what I'm wondering is installing 32bit on it does that cause the computer to not allow the drivers for my network adapter card?

Some of the network.drivers are 32 bit only, what driver in particular are you trying to install?

Okay for drivers, the ones crossed out are 64 bit only. The ones with the italic black writing are both 32 and 64 bit. The blue hyperlinks are 32 bit equivalent drivers fot the ones that are 64 bit only. The ones with the * I think will work but I'm not sure because of the exact wording, you should try these and let me know if they work.

All I'm trying to do is get my wireless network adapter to work. I cant connect to the internet wirelessly at all. I'm assuming its because it needs a driver update but I have no idea were to look.

You have not told us exactly what wireless driver you have so I have listed all the network drivers.
You should download the correct one to a USB stick on another computer and install it.
In addition you should definitely have the Dell System Software and the Video driver installed if you haven't installed them already.
