Hardware acceleration in balanced or other power saving mode in laptop.

Question

Hello there, I just bought a Dell XPS laptop(brand new) two months ago. I have since noticed that should I unplug and use balance power saving mode, I get distorted colouring and a green bar whilst watching flash videos. Is this normal, or is this a bug or error that should be corrected? Please reply as soon as possible so that I may correct this flaw within the warranty should this be an error.

MOre information: I have since noticed that this was because I enabled hardware acceleration in balanced or other power saving modes.
