Could be an overheating problem. If you play games alot you might want to try a cooling pad of some sorts.

It could be an issue,but not all the games crash.Only a few like the ones mentioned above crash.I was able to run the best games(based on graphics) on pc like battlefield 3 ,crysis 2 at the max at which my graphics card without issues.But several others have an issue like this.

check and make sure all non essential programs runnin in the back ground are turned off. maybe try different video card drivers. Might have to adjust graphic settings

I'm having blue screens every time a utility attempts to run tests on the hdd. I have removed the non-Dell apps that run hdd tests and when the Dell toolkit runs I get the same blue screen results.

I too have the same configuration with 8g of ram and have been facing the same problems. In the task manager I see the program taking up a lot of memory. The games are running fine in low config systems. I also got the heat sink and fan changed but to no effect. Another problem I face is that sometimes the sound stops coming. When I play a song the media player shows an error and then I realize that the sound is dead. I have to re-login to make it work. Have reinstalled the latest drivers too but to no avail.
