It'll almost certainly not work - no quad core CPUs were shipped with this system, so the board likely won't support one. Beyond that, even if you get it to work, the CPU will likely cause the system to overheat (the fastest CPU shipped with it, the P8700, draws 25W -- the cooling system just won't handle the much larger power draw of the quad core CPU.

Don't count on it - that CPU uses 10W more than the fastest one shipped with the 1545. Even if it works, it's a sure road to overheating.
