I see that you are planning to upgrade your hard drive to SATA 3 SSD on your computer. You can put the drive and use it and it should work but it will not run on the SATA 3 speed as the Motherboard speed is for SATA 2 HDD.
Also the HDD is a Factory Replaceable unit so in the process of changing the HDD if the there is any damage on motherboard the warranty will not be covered.
