Dell xps 15z performance issue

Question

Hello everyone. I noticed that my laptops's graphics processing has been noticably decreased. My windows scores shows me Gaming graphics and Destop graphics less than before, they were 6.8 and sometimes more, now they are 6.5 :(. I play games such as CoD,CS:S,Portal.   Notice: my laptop suffers from overheating.

I didn't clean the heatsink, but the warranty replaced the fan twice. The problem is still presistant... It was from the first 2 months ifrom buying this laptop, it gets overheaten (especially while using a 3D app)

Fix the overheating problem first - if you've never cleaned the dust from the heatsink, start there.  It'll then restore your video performance.

If they broke the seal between the heatsink and CPU without replacing the thermal pad, that would do it as well.
