I would like to know if you have installed to the latest BIOS before upgrading to Windows 8.If not please refer to the link below to download and install the latest BIOS.

i have the same issue + usb3 not working on both versions of windows.. my desktop at home doesn't even have half the specs as my laptop.. it works fine with win 8.. i hate my dell.. please solve it.
hey frnd i was also suffering from same problem i upgraded my n5110 win7 HB to win8 pro but now, i found the solutions there is no problem with any driver the problem is in the upgrade that we download. Just do these and u will get your lappie back to work..... :)
1. download win 8 pro from torrent, u will get it from extratorrent.com (it will be with keys and activator and other stuff )
2. install it don't worry if doesn't ask for key.
3. after installation connect to internet and try to activate so the key will get rejected and you can enter your own key that's it....
install all win8 driver from dell, they all are working.
hello , it did worked , i am using this option for a while now , but the laptop is getting hot more than ever and battery is cant last half the time at this power mode. any one solved this issue without having to set power option to high performance ? i have the latest drivers,,

Hi, guys.
I wanna thank you 'cause i had the same problem and the installation of the newest BIOS, after Windows 8 was installed, solved the problem.
I have to connect another screen to work with this.
