Once you pull the connector from the back of the drive, it's a standard, parallel ATA 2.5" drive.
You can mount the drive in a 2.5" USB PATA case once the blade adapter is removed.

You're a genius, ejn63! Thanks a million. With your simple tip, my IDE to SATA adapter brought up data which I haven't seen since 2002.
