Check for any loose/missing screws at the back of the system. This can be an issue with the motherboard or the hard drive.

I am not sure if this is the issue here, but when hard drives started becoming skinnier, if they are installed with the machine upside down, they would miss contact. Take out the hard drive, put the hard drive in with the system right side up, then turn in over and tighten the screws.
Thank you for sending the system details through the private message. I would suggest you to take out the hard drive and put it back in and tighten the screws as mentioned by faizalenu; check if that fixes the issue. If not, you can consider replacing the hard drive since the warranty of your system has been expired. In case that does not fix the issue, you would need to replace the motherboard.

Please reply in case you have any further questions.
Is it worth it to spend money on new parts for a laptop that is six years old? Should I buy a new laptop? How much does a new motherboard cost? thanks.
