Hi  fbanas,

Welcome to the Community,

This device picks up the native driver from Windows 7.It does not need any additional driver or software to function.I would suggest you to right click on BD combo Device,click Uninstall.Reboot your system,it should pick up the driver and that yellow triangle should go off.

This Problem caused by Norton Internet Security 2010.

Remove that and use Microsoft Security Essentials.

I recently upgraded to Windows 8 and I've managed to get most of the drivers I need except the Optiarc DVDRWBD BC-5540H. I've already tried uninstalling it and rebooting and it still shows up in device manager with a yellow triangle.

I have this same issue of after upgrading to Windows 8

No Events found!
