Do I have to install BIOS first then chipset then sound ? The thing is I could download the chipset and sound but BIOS is not available, URL not found :(
I tried downloading the file and it works, so probably there was an issue with the site when you tried to download. So request you to try doing it again, if it doesn’t work then change the country to United states. If this also doesn’t work please try with a different computer.

Here is the direct link to BIOS version A12 for the XPS L502x. I think A12 is the same as A11 but A12 provides support for Windows 8.

Hi papapin1,
I suggest that you install the following drivers in the order given below:
Click on this link to install the above mentioned drivers:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/xps-15-l521x
Do not use the system till it restarts and comes up to the desktop. Restart the system after each driver update.
Please check after all the driver installation.
Reply to this post for further assistance.

Hi
I request you to flash the BIOS first, then download drivers for chipset and Audio driver respectively.
Please click on 'Download file' by clikcing on the link below:
http://dell.to/UsnHRG
In case you are getting any error msg while flashig BIOS, revert to this post with the error message.

Hi
I tried to change the country to UK as I live here, it doesn't work as well as US.
This is very strange. Anyway if you could email me the file then it would be great. It's only some MBs though.
Best regards.

Hello. Try this link -- it is a direct link to the XPS L521X BIOS file on the Dell server:
downloads-us.dell.com/.../1
(I don't know if your "XPS 15" is an XPS L521X but the Dell person has been linking you to XPS L521X files.)

Well this is very screwed up.
In XPS 15 L502x there is only update for BIOS, nothing for Chipset and Audio. :(

Sorry for the delay -- I just now saw your reply. See if this works:
