Inspiron N5010 is shipped with Windows Vista and 7 64-bit. Drivers for same are available on support.dell.com. You can check the video card installed on your computer from Device Manager
Steps to check video card in ''Device manager':
Click on “Start” and right click on “Computer”.
Click on “Manage”.
Click on “Device Manager”.
Under “Display adapters”, you will find the video driver listed.
In case the system is shipped with discrete (ATI Radeon) video card, you can install the driver for that from link: http://dell.to/U36Su6
In case the system is shipped with integrated (Intel HD graphics) video card, you can install driver for that from link: http://dell.to/Sp8H0S
Steps to download drivers:-
Click 'Download file' to download the list to a folder you will designate.
Click 'Save'. Then designate the folder you would like to save the files to.
Once you have designated the folder you would like to save your files to, Click 'OK'.
Selected downloads will automatically start downloading. Next is Installation.
To start installation, Click Open folder. Right-click a downloaded file and select the option to ‘Run as administrator’.
A small window will appear with 'Continue' and 'Exit' buttons, click 'Continue'.
In the Select the folder where you want to unzip the files to window, click OK.
If a message appears asking to create a folder, click 'Yes'. If a message appears asking to overwrite the folder, click 'Yes to All'.
In the All files were successfully unzipped window, click OK.
A new window will appear, follow the prompts that appear to finish the installation.
I see that you are not able to install the video card drivers on the system. Dell Inspiron N5010 comes with integrated video card and discrete video card.
I would like to know exact error message you are receiving when you are installing the video card. Please send me a private message with the computer's service tag to assist you further. To send a private message, click on my name and select start conversation.
I also use Dell Inspiron N5010 model laptop and i do all that things what u said on above post and install graphics driver also but still graphics very bad.. I mean graphics driver could not install even if process is going on. Please help me for this.
I see that your system came with only integrated video card ‘Intel HD Graphics’. The Integrated video cards are for normal usage, the graphics performance will be low on high end games and videos.
is there any way that we can upgrade vid mem of this laptop i am fed up of low performance on my laptop i installed intel hd graphics it works but when i run ati graphics driver as given in the back up disk it doesnt work. any other than intel hd graphic driver plz suggest.

The drivers in this path does not seem to help solve the problem with Dell Inspiron N5010 with 32bit windows 7 OS.
Please suggest, if there is any work around.
Thanks,
