Inspiron 537s is connected but cannot access the internet

Question

My son's desktop stopped being able to access the internet earlier this week and I've exhausted my limited (ok, VERY limited) knowledge on what to check.  I tried ipconfig and get a 'media disconnected' error.  Searching the forums and Google leads me to think maybe the wireless card is the issue.  The pc has a Dell 1525 WLAN PCle card with 11n mini card & external antennta.  Any help would be appreciated!

If the article does not help solve the problem, Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID, if using XP, run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.

Also include the virus program and firewall you're using.
