Since you have mentioned that wireless connection is dropping frequently and there is a problem with the touchpad, you can go ahead and update the BIOS, wireless and touchpad drivers in your computer. Please use the link below to download the drivers.
I just bought a Inspiron Ultrabook Z14 and I can´t connect to the internet either by cable or wireless. It seems connected but when I try to go to a web page it does not open anything at all not even once.
Please help me it has been 8 days and I still can´t use the internet
I have the same problem with the Ultrabook 14 dropping the connection on a frequent basis. I don't have or use the touch screen. Has anyone got any tips to cure this? One other comment I have is that I hate Windows 8 with a real passion. I am still six months after buying the laptop unable to find many basic menus, it is a real downward step for Microsoft. Is it possible to downgrade to Windows seven?

Only from Windows 8 Pro is it possible to use the free cross-grade rights. With non-Pro 8, you can still use 7 but will have to purchase a copy.
