Hi rosiecheeks1,

Please disconnect all external devices and check if the system boots. I also request you to check if the HDD is getting detected in BIOS. To go to BIOS, restart the system and at Dell logo tap the F2 key every two seconds. Using down arrow key navigate to ‘Device Info ‘in the left pane and check what is listed for ‘Primary Hard Drive’ on the right pane.

I recommend you to run diagnostics on the hardware components of the system. To run diagnostics restart the system and at Dell logo tap the F12 key every two seconds. This will start the One-time boot menu. Using arrow keys select ‘Diagnostics’ and hit enter. This will run diagnostics on the hardware components of the system which may take around 5 minutes. Please reply to this post in case of any error message.
