Dell 17R SE has no card reader?

Question

I was so happy to see my new 17R SE has all the features I wanted, including a slot for second hard drive. There is no simpler backup than a second internal drive. However, upon delivery, I was astounded to learn there is no card reader!   I have not seen a laptop in the past five years without one. Even cheapo laptops have readers. So now, I take the camera card to my old Toshiba, copy pictures and then copy back to a thumb drive and take that to the Dell. Not a show stopper, but rather annoying.

If it's the 7720, it has a card reader - look on the front edge of the system just to the right of the touchpad.

Holy crap! I must be blind. It has a plastic filler the same color as the finish so difficult to spot. My error. Many thanks [hanging my head and feeling like an idiot]

Trust me we all have done it at some time,beware when you take out the blank it usually does a flyer.
