Yes, that's a SMART failure - you need a new hard drive. If you're under warranty, run the Dell diagnostics on the drive (F12 at powerup) and record the error; report it to Dell and they'll send a replacement drive (or replace the drive if it's not customer-replaceable).
If you're out of warranty, you'll need a new, 2.5" 9.5 or 7 mm SATA notebook drive.

You don't need a drive from Dell. Any standard 2.5" 9.5 or 7 mm SATA notebook drive will work.
