Hi HasenaH,

Let me know the operating system so that I can help you in a better way.

Meanwhile, ensure that the windows updates are running and the latest version of the chipset driver and BIOS is installed.

Click the link mentioned below to download the latest drivers:

Enter the Service Tag of the computer and choose the Operating System installed on the computer. Please update the latest version of drivers and BIOS available.

NOTE: Ensure the battery is more than 30% charged and the adapter is connected during the BIOS update.

The same OS is on desktop and laptop (windows 8 64-bit).  I didn't get any drviers disk, just plugged it to the desktop usb 2.0 port and it works fine.

When I do that with laptop, problem begins :(

Hi HasenaH,

Thank you for the reply.

Please provide the following information so that I can research on this issue:

1 Is the mouse compatible with Windows 8?
2 Did you get any drivers disk with the mouse?
3 Which operating system is installed on the desktop?
4 Are you connecting the mouse to a USB 3.0 port on the desktop?
5 Were you facing this issue on Windows 7?

Thanks & Regards
