Hmm I just downloaded leshcat driver and installed it on existing dell drivers. No problem for me. Tested on applications and it works fine it just shows 7700 instead of 7730 in device manager.
thats right mate it will show 7700 but did you install those leshcats correctley by using driver fusion to remove all previous driver and intel ones
also disable windows updates and driver instalation
oh and i would use the 13.4 as they are the fastest and most stable at present users still reporting problems with the 13.6s
best way to test is use gpu-z and then select the 7700 in the drop down box then do the render test that comes with it and it will show if its working or not
I am not able to Install AMD drivers at all. The installer says I have to download manufacturer's drivers. If it would works I install them. Now as I already posted because Dell has outdated drivers I have installed leshcat ones. I dowloaded the driver, extracted it (or what it does) and run the installer. It just asked me if I trust developer for install. After installation an error has occured program has stopped working. However drivers have been installed fine. Now it shows ati 7700 and works. I tried that, got FPS increase when the card is switched on. And yes It is FPS increase compared to Dell's drivers and many of crashing is now gone. At all I do not force you to use leshcat driver! Mainly I posted that because I was upset of Dell's outdated drivers and I wanna show you an option which helped me. PS. Sorry for mistakes.
So I bought mine with the sole purpose of the dedicated graphics card for use with fsx. I have tried evelee hat, leschat drivers, fsx forums, this waste and wasted far too many hours of my free time to no avail.
Therefore I have sold my machine and lost a fair chunk of money lucoily mine was a refurb so it could have been worse i guess. Lesson learned to do more research before purchasing but you would assume a big name brand laptop would actually work as designed/specified and not this whole mess of a situation. Will not be purchasing a dell again despite their great value.
I hope you can answer this for me, I got leshcat installed and my FPS is great now in my games, problem is I can only see the screen when I connect to VGA. My laptop screen is black. I read the FAQ and couldnt figure out how to access our settings. I was wondering if you know what our settings are in the brightness adjuster. I couldnt download a standard file and open it in note++.
I tried FFFF and F000 and niether worked.
I have the inspiron 15R SE 7520. Please help me cause I love playing with over 100FPS but I need it to work as a laptop as well as a desktop.
I used to use leshcat drivers before but AMD has made drivers which can be use with Dynamic switching cards. I suggest you to install newest AMD driver here http://support.amd.com/en-us/download (enter your OS) and Intel https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx (again). It doesn't matter which you install first. Tell me if this helped you.

Is it OK to use the latest AMD graphics drivers or do I need to use the Dell listed ones only?
I have had heaps of Graphics card issues with crashing drivers etc, which has now lead to a service call.!
F12012 wont run on the Dell provided ones, so I installed these:
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_win8-64.aspx
Then the pain started. Is it ok to use them?

All installed. Device manager is now showing AMD 7700 and not AMD 7730 now.
Any ideas?

Using the AMD 13.4 drivers. Fresh install. All was going well until Windows Update clobbered them. Damn forgot to turn them off. Now all good.
I didn't use Leshcats at all.

It does. It is just a string and does not affect anything. (If you have not any issue).

did you need to do a clean uninstall of the leshcat drivers then install the new ones, or did you just download and install directly?
