Guys, any help? I'm uninstalling and reinstalling the AMD driver, and I'm getting nothing. I'm ready to take this piece of junk out back with a sledgehammer if I get no resolution on this.

I have exactly the same problem. The Intel driver that is on the system is not correctly signed so Metro apps (such as Netflix) cannot run. 'Windows 8' PC, no it isn't. I am very frustrated with this situation too, even the error message is next to useless. Come on Dell, this really isn't good enough. I don't think I could recommend Dell computers for Win8 given this experience.
And when i tried installing AMD catalyst drivers nothing happened, when i checked device manager under display adapters i get 2 standard VGA Graphics Adapter but one has a yellow exlamation mark!
Been 2 days since trying to install the VGA drivers and couldn't find any helpful info
Same problem here and i have a question... i have delete the recovery partions for my own reasons and now i cant reinstall windows with dell product key i think... Now if reinstall widnows 7 can after install the driver without having problems????????. (sorry for my bad english) thanks..
Someone from dell please response..... its a joke i choose dell laptops beacause dell has good support for customers.. and i dont see this here...!!!!!!!
Inspiron 15R is very similar to my laptop (Vostro 3560). I ran into this same issue. If you just lookup the model of the laptop in the support drivers, you'll see the HD4000 and the AMD drivers. Since you have hybrid graphics, you use the AMD one ONLY!! The HD4000 driver is for laptops that ONLY have HD4000. Uninstall any AMD/Intel graphics packages you may have installed and then run the AMD driver ONLY. it will include the HD4000 drivers in it as well. Hope this helps!
Ok uninstalled both AMD and Intel's graphics drivers completely. Then Installed Dell's AMD drivers alone and rebooted.
After rebooting i get under display adapters in device manager 2 Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. But one of them has the yellow exclamation mark. And when i try launching Catalyst i get this error:
Catalyst control cannot be started.
There are currently no settings that can be configured using catalyst control center.
Looks like you have driver fusion... Sigh... Lord knows what's gotten messed up with that. Have a spare HDD? Drop it in there and try a fresh install? If not, maybe uninstall the Dell package, reboot, remove both standard vga drivers in device manager and then run the package from Dell again?
Thats my first and LAST Dell product ill ever purchase, AND i will never ever recommend anyone to purchase their products mainly to the lack of support!
Should have gone for Lenovo or HP laptop for less price and better quality/support!

I really want an answer on why this isn't working.

This is ridiculous!!
I am having the same issue with my FIRST Dell laptop i have ever purchased!
i tried everything and followed Dell's Install Drivers in the Correct Order http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?c=us&docid=268873&l=en&s=gen&DoNotRedirect=y&dgc=IR&cid=254348&lid=4672891 and i get the same error message:
The computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software
All drivers where downloaded from http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/Servicetag/97DJGW1 #mce_temp_url#
And when i tried installing AMD catalyst drivers nothing happened, when i checked device manager under display adapters i get 2 standard VGA Graphics Adapter but one has a yellow exlamation mark!
Been 2 days since trying to install the VGA drivers and couldn't find any helpful info

Thanks for your help bro!
As far as i remember I tried it before on one of my fresh windows install and the same thing occurred. That's what lead me to install Intel's drivers

I attached 2 images describing my issues.

Looks like you have driver fusion... Sigh... Lord knows what's gotten messed up with that. Have a spare HDD? Drop it in there and try a fresh install? If not, maybe uninstall the Dell package, reboot, remove both standard vga drivers in device manager and then run the package from Dell again?

this sucks badly bro!!!
Thats my first and LAST Dell product ill ever purchase, AND i will never ever recommend anyone to purchase their products mainly to the lack of support!
Should have gone for Lenovo or HP laptop for less price and better quality/support!
