According to people in this forum: forum.tabletpcreview.com/.../52894-dell-latitude-10-a-64.html (link to post with photo) , you got the wrong stylus.

"They probably sent you the wrong stylus. If it came with a battery they sent you the wrong one."

There are several posts in that thread mentioning they got the wrong stylus when ordering one after they ordered the Latitude 10. Something about the same part numbers. Even when they told the Dell tech support that it was the wrong stylus it took them quite some time to convince the rep. Some even got the wrong stylus again when tech support replaced it.

The Wacom Bamboo Stylus Feel is the newest stylus from Wacom that a user in that forum said works well. The site, www.wacom.com/.../bamboo-stylus-feel , says it's compatible with the Latitude 10. Technically, any of the non-battery (somehow powered wirelessly by the tablet) powered Wacom stylus should work.

The correct stylus does not need a battery.  They sent you the wrong stylus.

I purchased one of the Watcom Bamboo stylus.  It works, but has no erase button on the end.  I have to admit I really like the "cheap" Dell stylus much better because of the eraser.  I know you can set OneNote to delete if you draw horizontal lines through what you want deleted but the builtin eraser works in every app that supports ink.

I apologize for missing this.  If the issue hasn't been resolved please feel free to shoot me a private message (just click on the link in my signature, then click start conversation).  In your message please include the service tag of the tablet and if possible the part number of the stylus and I will be happy to help out.

If any other of you Latitude 10 owners has received a stylus with your tablet and are having difficulties with it please feel free to private message me with the service tag of your system.

Thanks

I am sorry to read that you have had such a poor experience with Sales. If you would like for me to research further I will be happy to do so.  I will shoot you a friend request shortly, please accept it if you would like to discuss the issue with me.

This is such horse  I went round and round with the sales people that sold me the tablet & stylus, and they could not get it right.  I finally just gave up as they jerked me around until I was past the 30 day return period for my tablet., and now they will not answer my emails.

Please tell us Terry B...  what feats of magic are at your disposal to correct the issue that no one in your company has been able to do up to now?

My stylus will not calibrate and I can't find anybody to assist me with this problem.  Should I just order one from Wacom to see if that works?  Have you ever heard of people having trouble with Microsoft being the reason the stylus will not calibrate?

Dell is replacing my latitude 10 (thank you) but the specs seems to be slightly different.

my original has ten point multitouch with digitizer but the new one has 5 point multitouch without stating it has digitizer.

does it mean my replacement set does not have support for wacom stylus?  thanks for any help before i confirm with dell.

Terry B, I also ordered a stylus, was sent the wrong one.  I was told the one I received was for the XT2 tablet and I need one for the ST2 tablet.  Does the wacom active stylus work with these.  Dell sent me the wrong one twice before giving me a refund.  I would like to purchase the correct one if they've got the issue cleared up now.  Apparently the two stylus had the same part number

High Terry, I have a question regarding styluses. I have a Latitude 10 ST2E tablet and was wondering what the proper stylus to buy is. I heard that the essentials tablets do not have Wacom Digitizers in them. Does the Active Stylus work with this model number?

I would like to know what will with the ST2E also. I just received the stylus I ordered from Dell and it doesn't work.

I too received my Dell Stylus for my Latitude 10 ST2E which doesn't work. Anyone know what the problem is? How can they ship this together without testing it for compatibility? The white box it came in has numbers that start with CN0V86 etc. Made in China.
