To configure Dual Monitors, connect the 2 monitors using a VGA cable to connect one monitor and an HDMI cable to connect the other. To setup the dual monitor, please refer the article on How to Setup Dual Monitors.
You should also check with Sony - most notebooks can only drive two displays at a time,so if you want two external displays, you'll likely have to disable the internal screen.
After researching different avenues, I found an EV3A, UV Plus+39, USB display adaptor (approx. $79); hooked it up to a USB port on the docking station (or directly to a USB port on the laptop) and to the monitor (by using a DVI, VGA or HDMI cable) and I got the 1920x1200 resolution that the DELL U2410 is so famous for. It works absolutely perfect, close the laptop lid and the dual monitors come to life.
Hi guys - I have 2 1080x1920 resolution screens, the latitude laptop and the docking station with the VGI and DVI ports on it. At work I have 2 screens set up that utilize the VGI and DVI ports, however I bought a VGI to DVI adapter and the 2nd screen doesn't show up on my screen resolution tab. Is there a way to trouble shoot this or should I buy a USB to VGI adapter to get around the issue? Thanks, Brad
