Very Strange - I'm also having "wierd power problems" which began showing up on 14 Feb.! Here's what's happening: the Battery LED indocator has begun blinking: 3x Orage (very fast) and then 1x green. According to the Dell info this shows a defective Battery. ??? My 8200 was purchased in August 2002 (inEurope) ...
