I'm right there with you. I was just told that it will take a tech to determine if the laptop is fixable or not. They won't replace the computer. I have a premium service agreement with them. After sending it out twice (it had a 1.5 foot fall from a footstool), Now they are sending out a repairman. I'm cringing after reading your report.
This is my first Dell...I'm going back to HP where I belong. I dropped my HP laptop from over 3 feet height. It dented the frame but caused NO PROBLEMS inside.
Meanwhile, I want satisfaction. What a piece of junk.
The normal Dell warranty does not cover customer mishandling of the laptop. The additional Accidental Damage warranty would. Via private message (click my username and then click Start Conversation) send me the service tag number for the computer so I can look up the purchased warranty.
I can understand your frustration, except I did receive a replacement for mine and it was defective too! My computer still crashes regularly and the screen goes blue, white and black. It's the hard drive going out on the replacement [which was a refurbished] computer. After three years plus of continual heartache I an so frustrated with Dell and their service that I am vowing to never buy from this reprehensible company again. Thanks for posting, seems like the All-in-One 2305 was just an absolutely horrible and defective computer.

I hope you get yours replaced.
