Hi Atakanokan,

Welcome to the Community.

Did you install the operating system using the DVD sent with the system?

Please ensure that you install the drivers in correct order. You may refer to the link mentioned below:

Hi Manshu,

Thanks for the fast reply. I did install the operating system with the one that came out of the Dell box, however I installed the drivers in the order that the Drivers and Downloads page had, which is alphabetical I guess. So should I reinstall Windows to start installing drivers in that order, or should I go from a different path?

And also, is there an up-to-date guide for installing drivers in the correct order? Or maybe a guide based on Inspiron 15R 7520 laptops? There is no such thing as Notebook System Software in my System Utilities in Driver and Downloads. There is only Intel Rapid Start Technology file.

Hi Atakanokan,

You may try re-installing the drivers in correct order. If the system does not work properly after that, I would suggest you to re-install the operating system and then perform the drivers installation.

There is no specific article for Inspiron 15R 7520. You can start driver installation from Chipset Driver.

Please refer to the link mentioned below for Operating system installation:

NOTE: Operating system re-installation will remove the data in the system.

Thanks & Regards

Hi again Manshu,

I reinstalled the operating system and performed the driver installation in the correct order as given in the link. However, Intel Rapid Start Technology is still saying that the system does not meet the requirements. And also the GRAPHICS score is 5.6 which should have been 6.6. How do I change the primary video card so that Windows Performance Index will use AMD Radeon video card when determining the score? Last but not least, the MEMORY score hasn't improved either from 7.7 to 7.9.

Thanks for you help.

Hi Atakanokan,

Do you have SSD(Solid State Drive) in the system?

I would suggest you to update the BIOS by clicking the link mentioned below:

NOTE: Ensure that the battery is more than 30% charged and adapter is plugged in during the BIOS update.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Manshu,

I should have a SSD because I had the Rapid Start when I bought it and SSD is necessary for Intel Rapid Start. However I cannot seem to locate it under my computer's device list. Can you help me to make my pc recognize the SSD? Also, is it possible to download the factory image of my computer so that I can use it to restore it to its factory settings?

Thanks again.
