Hi DELL-APPU S, I have a similar issue the wifi card is not working at all now, it was intermittent before would appear after a few restarts, now it's completely given up. Just get the Ethernet option which is not a suitable option for me as I have a hotspot only. My system is an inspiron 15, 3521. I am downloading both the 1704 bt + hs driver and the 1703/1705 wifi + bt driver on a flash drive using another laptop. Question is which one to run on the dell?

I would suggest you to go to this link http://dell.to/1lTHx4p punch in the service tag, go to configuration, select components, check for wireless you will get to know what card is installed on your system. Based on that go to drivers and downloads select network and install the necessary driver. If you don't find anything under components private message the service tag I will provide you the drivers.

That's the Dell Wireless 1704 card. Try this driver:
