You can try a system reset (remove battery, unplug, hold power button for 30 sec, remove and reinstall both memory modules), but it sounds like the mainboard is on its way out - if that doesn't work, replace the mainboard.
If the system has Complete Care warranty that covers accidental damage, I can arrange for a depot dispatch to resolve this issue. Depot technicians will check the system thoroughly and ensure the system is up and running.
