I appreciate your efforts to fix the issue with the LCD screen. I suggest you to clean the air vents with a can of compressed air as the heat generated due to the air vent blockage may cause this. You will need to replace the LCD kit if the issue occurs after cleaning the air vents.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
I cleaned the air vents, but problem still occured. I reran some diagnostics (F12 key) and I was wondering what would be typical/nominal values for CPU and Video thermistors. In the shown values, they ranges from 16 C to 60+ C.
Could it help to resolve issue by replacing the thermal pads / compound and get more heat dissipation?
Thank you for your reply and for providing an update on the status. Replacing thermal pads/compound may help to resolve this issue. However, I suggest you to run the LCD Built-In Self-Test by following the steps provided below:
1. Shutdown the laptop. 2. Press and hold the “D” key and then press the Power button. 3. Release them when you see color bands on the screen.
