1. Please perform LCD BIST . Turn off system> Press and hold “D” and turn on the computer. Solid colors will appear on the screen. 2. Also, you may check the quality of the display with an external monitor. 3. If the video displayed on the external monitor is fine and the issue appears during LCD BIST, LCD assembly needs replacement.
I got the same problem in my Delll Insprion N4010 Laptop. I tried with pressing D after shut down. It works. But When I play the video songs then after 10-15 minutes it will show the same line after all. I change the lcd it didn't work and changed the VGA the problem still same. I am unable to find the solution. Please Help

My Laptop fall from some height and after that i am experiencing such problem though its negligible.
My laptop is not under warranty period.
Kindly let me know, will it gonna affect the performance of my screen or I can use it as the way it is
