No Dell Logo. It doesn't get that far. It's like there is no power getting to the unit. When it is plugged in, the charging light doesn't light up either so I suspect the power port but I am pretty sure this model doesnt have a daughter card, just a port plugged into the board so it could be the motherboard too.
On the AC adapter, the light does light up and it does stay on when plugged into the laptop...plus I did try another AC adapter as well so I have ruled out the AC adapter as a potential issue.
im having this problem, its fans start, lights come on, dell logo pops up, then a blank screen that flashes 3 small dashes in the top left corner, then goes black and starts over again, repeating an indignant times until I force shut it down. We've done the diagnostics test and says everything is working properly and no errors found. please help. Very frustrated
I having the same exact issue. Started today. Diagnostics says nothing is wrong, I tried the "static" reboot and this didn't solve the problem. Please help!!!
