Same complaint - misleading promos

Question

After many, many hours getting the run around, being disconnected, waiting so long that the department closed while I was waiting,,, I got a 'direct' phone number for card disputes: 877-819-3355, option #4  I finally am getting what I ordered with an egift card. From what I can tell, an egift card is different from other promo cards, and you can't combine your various egift card amounts. So, if you order something, & get an egift card, and then you order something again later & get another egift card,  it would seem logical that if you wanted to buy yet something else using all 'your' credit, you can only use the one egift card. This is misleading & doesn't make sense from a consumer point of view - it seems to mean that Dell keeps the unused amounts. I'm very displeased with Dell service as far as promos & cards.
