Inspiron 15 no VGA output

Question

Hi I bought an Inspirion 15 for my father to show picture presentation on new Dell projector, then noticed there is no VGA on laptop so tried a HDMI to VGA adaptor and didn't work, anyone help.

Hi tipp438,

Could you try another HDMI to VGA converter to ensure it is not an issue with the converter.

Also, are you able to connect any external display using HDMI port?

Hi Manshu,

I have connected a HDMI screen to laptop via HDMI cable and all works well, I haven't got another converter but as it may be this can you advise on a particular product or model I should look at.
