lroboat,

So two systems and four monitors? Are you turning the monitors off at the end of the work day or leaving them on all night? Are you saying while in portrait mode, that turning them off/on does not correct the issue?

Hi Chris,

I don't turn off the monitors at night but they do go to sleep. I have to admit to not thinking of turning them off and on but I am sure in the extensive trouble shooting that was done on another users computer tried. In the end that really does not explain why at 3:10 every day the monitors go crazy.  The only other thing I could think of is that we all use ATI drivers, but it still makes no sense. I will update this afternoon testing having one monitor each landscape and portart to see what happens.

The time thing is odd. Disconnect the computers from all LAN and wireless at 3pm. See if the 3:10pm thing still occurs.

Well it is sad I know what time it is when I can't work any more. I actually I know the answer to that,  the machines work fine if they are not on the lan. I also know that if I log into a machine like this before it starts with a remote desktop the remote machine will act normal but the physical one will still have issues. And the answer is at 3:10 if one is landscape it works fine, which is why I can type this now and the one that is portrate looks ugly and impossible to work on. I would get you a screen capture but it turns out normal. This looks like when you have a delay and as you are moving a window and and they leave ghots behind or windows that have not been moved are in different colors including black. If you disconect though after it starts it looks like it works at first when you hit ctr alt del but after you clear the lock window the screen is black. Well it is 3:20 and everything works again. We did previously do some extensive virus checking and found nothing seemed to be effecting these machines but I also found out someone who had the issue just had their system upgraded to Win7 (yes we still have XP out here) and his stopped doing this.

Are the XP systems using your own OS build or the Dell OS build?
