Not to be a smartass, but if you don't know what it is, you don't need it. This is for pro graphics people to get prints that match the screen perfectly. You'll need color profiles for the printer too.
you actually will see a difference when you reboot...the screen's gamma will change slightly.
btw, using photoshop's soft proofing with this profile seems to hint that the black point is slightly off. If I get one that doesn't have this problem I'll update everyone

btw, I re-created the profile for the screen in a dark room with the power brick plugged in...but using photoshop's proof mask it seems something is still weird (I got some color shifting, and IIRC the black point still wasn't right. So I'm not sure what to do here. Perhaps someone could offer some insight.
